Nursery Services

The nursery operates Monday – Friday term time. The nursery closes for all school/public holidays. Staff in service training days usually takes place either before or after a holiday period or weekend, (full details on Buddies Club Calendar).
 
• Thirty hour sessions per week are funded by the Local Authority through government grant and are therefore free to the child/parent living within Glasgow for children aged 3-5 years if there is an available space

• Free places start from the term after the child’s third birthday.

• Any additional sessions incur a charge.

 Lunchtime Provision:

 There are free hot lunches available for the 3-5s

If parents do not wish their child to have the Buddies Hot Lunch, parents are asked to provide a Health lunchbox for their child, ideas of health contents will be displayed on the parent’s notice board.  The nursery operates a healthy eating policy and is part of the SMILE TOO Initiative which encourages healthy eating and tooth brushing for our 3-5s.
Parents are asked to complete consent forms to permit children’s participation in the SMILE TOO programme.
