Curriculum
There is a national Curriculum for early years. Its philosophy is based on play as the vehicle for learning with the child as an active learner, developing the skills and concepts needed for living in a multi-cultural society. We promote equal opportunity for every child regardless of gender, ethnic grouping or disability.
Parents are valued for their role in this educational partnership and respected as First and Continuing educators of their children.

Curriculum For Excellence
Every child in Scotland is entitled to experience a broad general education. The broad general education takes place from the early years.
The curriculum is planned and resourced to provide broad and balanced learning experiences, suited to the needs and development stages of every child.

Pre Birth to Three matters
Through a wide variety of activities and involvement in children’s play, we extend and stimulate learning in the four key aspects of the curriculum. These are the 4 key principles
