What's New?

Summer Holidays

We can't quite believe we are at our final week of our holiday club already. A great time seems to have been had by all and fingers crossed for better weather for the final week. Just a reminder that all services will fully restart on Tuesday 15th August 2017. We have already sent out applications for the October Holiday Club and the deadline for returns is Friday 8th September 2017. Please get in contact with the office if you haven't received a form.

Eco Committee Update

Our children, parents and staff have been making improvements to our garden area and have raised £980.00 through taking part in a sponsored litter pick which has helped us buy new resources for our graden. We have been collecting plastic bottles, which the parents have been involved with, and we have now built our very own greenhouse with these, The children took great pride in helping build this. We have also built our very own minibeast hotel which the children also assisted with.

BT MyDonate

If you would like to make a donation online then please visit our BT MyDonate page.

https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/buddiesclubsandservices

We are currently raising funds for a new Variety Coach and are making plans to possibly install a new air conditioning/heating unit in one of our nursery rooms. Any and all donations are gratefully received and don't forget to tick Gift Aid.

Fundraising update:

We have been busy fundraising to replace our much loved variety coach Daisy. Daisy has been with us since 2005 and is now beginning to have significant time out of service for repairs. We need to raise a minimum of £17,000 before we can start the processes for a new coach. We had managed to raise about £1,000.00 via parental fundraising when we received wonderful news from The True Colours Trust who have granted us £5,000 00 to help our fund. We are deeply grateful to them and the many others who are supporting this vital fund.

New Support Group Planned:

We have decided that is time to get to know not just the families who use our services at present but the new families who are constantly in touch looking for help and support with lots of different areas of their lives. It is hope that this new group will have its first meeting in May of this year. More information will follow.
